He embarked on his medical journey at St George’s Hospital Medical School in Tooting and completed his training at St. Bart’s and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. His training encompassed a rotation through various specialties, accruing an extensive knowledge base in multiple areas of medicine. He has a pronounced interest in Sports Medicine and injuries, as well as pre-hospital medicine. In his earlier career, he served as a medical officer at motor racing circuits such as Lydden Hill and Brands Hatch.
His experience is broad and includes a significant tenure in Emergency Medicine for almost a year, where he also functioned as an out-of-hours doctor. Dr Vikram Murthy is well-equipped to handle a range of medical scenarios, including emergencies, having completed both Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) programmes.
