Why should you test Cortisol, DHEA and Adrenal functions?
The Adrenal Stress Profile Saliva Test
Chronic stress alters the hypothalamic, pituitary and adrenal axis, resulting in vague symptoms such as fatigue, weight gain, insomnia, depression, anxiety, gastro-intestinal issues and even chronic pain. Adrenal glands produce Cortisol and DHEA (Dehydroepiandrosterone). Cortisol is the main hormone involved in responding to stress.
